Position Overview

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service and vehicle maintenance. Your expertise and work ethic will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and operational success.

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot customer concerns using the latest technical tools and administrative systems.
• Demonstrate courteous and professional interactions with all customers.
• Assist as a secondary greeter near the Service Drive to welcome customers.
• Stay updated with technical publications, Service Comm, and Asist terminal operations.
• Deliver safe and reliable vehicle services on the first attempt.
• Address original customer concerns before offering additional services.
• Inspect vehicles for maintenance aligned with local and factory recommendations and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Ensure customers’ vehicles are returned clean or cleaner than when received.
• Participate actively in factory and in-house training programs.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and maintain organization of repair orders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain punctuality, readiness to work, and adhere to uniform standards.

Work Hours

This is a full-time position with scheduled hours as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Experience performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
• High-energy personality with a positive attitude.
• Ability to read and understand instructions clearly.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
• Valid State driver's license with a good driving record.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification demonstrating technical aptitude is required.
• Technical or trade school degree preferred.
